story one

The family got lucky to have spent the long weekend in Mindanao where my sister and her family are. There is so much to blog about that trip, but in everything we always have to start with one.

So this is story one.

In this picture, the lil miss rushed to the little girl thinking she was unsupervised and said, "Hala, hala! Don't stand up. Don't move! Or you'll fall down!"

Also, when the day came that we had to say our thank yous and goodbyes to my sister’s folks–in–law, the lil miss learned that my sister’s mother–in–law (she calls Lola) went to Manila and that the father–in–law(she calls Lolo) is left all alone. The lil miss then told the Lolo, “Are you sure Lola is coming back soon?”

I remember one TV commercial that stated (not verbatim though) how a parent would feel a little secure once his or her child starts to care for or empathize with others; with this story one, I have to say, I couldn’t agree more with the TV commercial. :)

Have a great day, y’all!
