Am Registered (here)

Before I got married, I always make it a point to go home and exercise the right to vote in my hometown. And now that we’ve finally moved, it’s about time I vote again.

I found time to visit COMELEC. We arrived at noontime. The line was a bit long but when I found out that there were actually two lines (for North and South Cebu) and I mistook it all as one, I was relieved. Besides, the waiting was not that bad, and the service, too. The processing was short and fast. I also have to say the office employee assigned to our barangay was kind and sincere. Just the way people working for the people (government) should be. She was quick to say “Welcome” when you say your “Thank you.” I truly appreciate her.

Soon, I should be able to receive a letter saying my voter’s ID is available for pick up. Abangan. =)

The line was relatively not that long.

In the Philippines, it's a family thing.

Because I missed lunch, I had this delicious cheese cupcake (P13) and ice cold coke.
