twizzlers/licoriceThe first time I ate it, I thought it tasted funny. But that changed when a day ago, someone brought a pack of twizzlers in the office. I got addicted to it.
I can’t really say why but it could be because: it’s not that sweet, its flavor was strawberry; its texture keeps my mouth busy in nibbling (just what I need to keep alert); or I just simply discovered a technique on how to eat it. LOL!
And because I said I got addicted, now I know it’s known as “licorice” down under through my good friend Cym. =) And because I got a little more curious, I got to read an article saying that eating licorice in pregnancy may affect a child’s IQ and behavior. =(
