that hallow weekend

The past weekend was the busiest it has ever been.

On Friday, my sister and her family arrived. It was just a riot to have all three kids together after not seeing each other for a long time. Then we attended an aunt and uncle’s anniversary party. It was again a riot to see and catch up with the cousins and having all our kids together in one place was just the craziest and most raucous idea ever that we had to do it all over again in our house the next day, Saturday.

On Saturday, one of my wishes came true. I got to invite uncles, cousins, and relatives over to our payag. The experience was just a bit nasty with no house help around. Good thing we’re a tight bunch. Way nag-inarte. LOL! The get-together started at lunch and ended late in the evening which got me a little worried because I might be too tired to wake up for the early trip to the hometown the next day, Sunday.

On Sunday, my sister and I went home to our hometown. We always try to do it every year to spend time with our late brother. It was also a great time to catch up with relatives who live there, and go home where we grew up. It felt like I was in high school again. Hihi.

reminds us that life is short and sweet.

Then on Monday, we headed back to the other home where we’ve left most of our hearts, where our little family is waiting. The little girl came shrieking when she saw me. I guess it was happiness seeing me. Not that I don’t get that all the time. Hihi.
