the jule-bee in her crib. hihi.
Jule is turning 8 months soon. Yes, like you, I can’t believe she’s close to turning one–year soon. While I could sometimes get lost in my head planning her birthday party as early as now, I can’t let her hurry. These are her milestones for now:
—sits by herself without support
—crawls like a spider (lol!)
—stands up by herself (with support)
—stands up, lets go of support, and does the wave and clap–clap for a second or two before losing her balance :hide
—cruises around the crib and around the room through wall support
—wriggle dances
—screams “atih” when excited
—can probably hold her feeding bowl if we let her because she just couldn’t wait for another helping buyag of her lugaw (haha!)
Meanwhile, Khandi is also busy developing her own personality. During my conversation with her teacher on the recent PTC, it seems Khandi has left a certain impression on almost everyone in school especially the teacher–aides. She brought quite a laugh with the following scenario that for two consecutive days the same Teacher–aide fetched her from the gate to take her to their classroom, and that wasn't the first time it happened:
Teacher–aide: Hi, Niña (K’s real name)
Khandi: Hi! What’s your name?
Teacher–aide: I’m Ate Celine.
Khandi: Ate Celine, blah-blah-blah...(her story goes on)
The next day, the same teacher–aide fetched her up.
Teacher–aide: Hi, Niña. Good morning!
Khandi: Good morning! What’s your name?
Teacher–aide: Niña! I’m Ate Celine, remember?
Khandi: Oh! Sorry, I forgot...blah-blah-blah...
Tawingwingwing. Liwat sa pikas giliwatan. Limtanan og pangalan. At least, she was quick to apologize. Lol! :hide:
Then one time when I dropped her off to school, she was fetched from the gate by none other than the Pre–school Department Head. I just had to see how she would behave so I lingered a little and followed them with my gaze. And this is what she had to do: She stopped walking and this made the Head Teacher stop, too. Khandi looked to her right and called out to the people in the stalls selling fries, etc “Hey! Hey! Look at me!” And when they did look at her, she waved (murag artista) and the people said, “Good morning, Niña!” And by then, she continued her walk to the classroom. Pastilan. hihi.
And of course, how can I forget that one time when I had the chance to take her to her classroom. As soon as I opened the door and her Nursery schoolmates saw her, almost all of them screamed “Niña!” and hugged her and some pinched her cheeks. Lol! That got me wondering really why they acted like they missed her when they just saw each other the day before. Haha! Well, I guess it was happiness to see Khandi. It got me smiling until the day ended. Happiness, it is. =)
La lang. Share ko lang. hihi. Have a great week, everyone!
