No. Back when I was still babysitting my sister and cousins in grade school, I just knew I want to have children one day, when I’m more mature (and old enough to bear one). Lol!
I am one of those girls who’d gush at little babies with pudgy feet and hands. I am definitely one of those who’d follow their gaze at toddlers walking in the mall; and definitely, I am one of those girls who often get mistaken to be a young mother because I go around the city with a baby or toddler with me.
So essentially, when I got married at 29, I couldn’t wait to have one of my own. In fact, the odds were with me that I got pregnant right away. Lol!
Motherhood is not at all glamorous and smooth sailing as you would like to think, but you’d get to have this kind of perks every now and then:
The lil miss handed this card (with artwork) to me last night, on the eve of Valentine’s Day, after braving the flooded roads of Cebu. I know she meant “Valentine’s”, but it doesn’t matter. All days are the same when you get perks like this: awesome. :)
