These couple of days has been very challenging.
Early mornings are just tough to get through. It has been difficult to get the lil girl to wake up and get to school; and I’ve been very lousy in the kitchen as I seem to be always on the run for time.
Then, there are other concerns that the only way to get through them gracefully is to take them one day at a time.
This morning started just like one of those mornings. I expected the worst, in fact. But I was wrong.
She was singing after she took a bath; called out for me because she wants us to sing “A Whole New World”. There wasn’t a struggle either to get her in the car.
When we arrived in school, a schoolmate of hers called out her name and said hi. My daughter waved back at her and said hi. Then afterwards the lil schoolmate took our lil girl’s hand and together, they walked their way to the gate then to their classroom.
I just wanted to cry at that very moment. Thank you, lil schoolmate. Thank you, lil ones. :)
