So I watched the movie Eat, Pray, Love.
I would have loved to read the book or ebook but I just don’t have the luxury of time. Why, I spend more than 8 hours out of the house almost daily and have two girls waiting for me when I get home, I could never find the time. Or if I’d have time, I’d probably be dozing off after a page or two. :hide:
And so I went off on a tangent. Lol!
Anyhow, back to the movie, I didn’t finish it. :hide: First, I ran out of time. Second, I suppose I don’t really run out of time when I watch Criminal Minds. So there should be sort of a reason behind it. Haha. Well, I did find some parts of the movie amusing. Why, Billy Crudup was just funny as the husband of Elizabeth during that scene where she initiated the divorce. I was also amused with all the food in those scenes when she was in Italy. Then after that, I got bored and turned the player off. Because I thought, well, I could never relate to this girl. Everything seemed superficial. I should have known better though (hello, Gilbert travels to Italy, India, and Indonesia.) Of course, that’s just me. I could almost hear you say, “Read the book! Read the book!” Maybe I will. Maybe I will. But that doesn't take away the fact that she had to do all those travels in her search for everything. hihi. Jk.
That is all I can say for now and this: in this post and the next two, let me have the liberty to borrow Gilbert’s phrase, word for word; nothing more, nothing less. :)
