I’m not going to pretend I know a lot about architecture but I understand it is building something to be functional using human requirements and materials. Eherm. :hide: Browsing through all the tons of pictures I took, I notice most of them were buildings, walkways, and sidewalks. I guess I am fascinated with them just as much as I am fascinated with my children in action, showing off antics and whatnot.
Anyhow, when I’m strolling around a new place, I usually
find myself gazing and taking pictures of buildings, corners, pavements, and
posts (yes, I have a picture of a spider web up there in a lamppost). Then when
I’m with a couple of friends who are so game to have pictures taken, I have to
take several shots: one shot for each friend, one shot with all my friends, and
one shot with nobody or probably with somebody with only his/her back facing
the camera (see above). This is exactly why strolling alone or with only a small
group works better for me. Haha. Jk. And you know what else works? Ensure
that I have my own camera especially when I'm with the family. I remember when my camera conked out during that
trip to HK/Macau with family and I had to use my parents’. I lost most of the
pictures. Why? While I was busy taking pictures of building and sceneries, I
didn’t know my father was also busy deleting them. His "rule" was probably “if
there’s no one out there, then there’s nothing in there. Delete!” And now I know
why I got complaints from him (and the family) about that album I posted that didn’t
contain any pictures of me. I simply went against the rule. Hihi.
This picture was one of them pics that got away with the supposed rule, and that's because I already told him to stop deleting pictures unless I've already backed them up. lol!
This picture got away because the "salarin" is there. hihi. Jk.
Ooops, I went off on a tangent. But it’s okay. After all, this is my blog. Ka–blag! hihi.
