The Backyardigans: "Hi, I’m Uniqua…I’m Tasha…My name is Tyrone…"
The Little Girl: "I’m Khandi."
Me: "Pretty mommy, Khan?"
The Little Girl: Pretty Khandi noh? (Di papiri! LOL!)
You know, for a working mother like me, it is happiness that my daughter got toilet– or potty–trained without much fuss considering how hyper she can get. :hide: If I remember it correctly, she was 2 years and 4 months (I know it's not that early. LOL!) when she insisted not to wear diapers anymore, without pressure. I believe there's no need for pressure especially when it comes to kids as there's always time for everything including toilet training. hihi.
In the first few days, there were times she’d go without reaching the toilet. But of course that wouldn’t have happened if there was enough effort from the team. We, the supposed grownups in the house, should always have to be patient and consistent in asking or reminding the little girl (every now and then) she needs to go to the toilet. Tip sa akong inahan. LOL! The little girl didn’t even let us worry about wetting the bed after a full night sleep without diapers because that didn’t happen at all. Yet of course, we grownups were careful she wiwi in the toilet before she goes to sleep and right after she wakes up. Syodi muhulat musulti kay kuyaw mangabasa og kuyaw sa panglawas. :hide:
Yes, you can call me one proud mama; i'm one proud mama who got to save (earlier than I expected) from those diapers. haha! :hide: La lang. Share ko lang. =D
