next: follow through

Yes, my days can relatively go manic. I say relatively as I have to give credit and thanks to the help I get from the Ateh(s) who tends to my 6–month old infant and my almost 4–year old pre–schooler while I’m at work. Thank you.

When you’re married, have kids, and work full–time, it’s just so easy to get lost in the way that sometimes when you miss something such as a friend’s birthday, get togethers, personal deadlines, etc, you’re most likely to be excused. :hide: But I don’t want that. Type A as I am, I’d want to do it all, with grace and compassion. Lol! Half kidding. =)

So before even this year started, I made a pact to myself that I’ll give my best to be better with time management. I sucked big time last year that it shames me to pieces. :hide: Seriously, I just want to be better. So anything from ordinary notebooks to planners (thanks, chelo!) to bag organizers, I have embraced. Time saving tips, too, I have welcomed and appreciated.

And because I have subscribed to GOOP newsletters, I totally embraced Juliet de Baubigny’s (no, I don’t know her. Hehe.) Top 10 Time Savers. I know, I know. My life is not even close to hers, and I don't even know any of the brands she mentioned. Lol! But she got me with her tip #5—"Shop for clothes at key moments during the year: While some of my friends may be surprised at this, I cannot stand to shop. I don’t like it, I don’t have the patience for it and it’s not fun. But, I love clothes and fashion so it’s a problem". She said it all! I’m not alone. Hihi.

I like her tip #1 and #10, as well—"The power of the list" and "Get your girlfriends together", accordingly. Now, I am more determined to complete my own lists this weekend, and file them all together. (I wished I did them while I was on maternity leave after the birth of Jule though.) Also, I am determined to get that girl time at least once in a quarter. =)

Her tip #3 and #8—"Plan ahead for birthdays, holidays" and "Bring your notebook everywhere"—I already did. Her tip #9—"Adapt to what works for you"—is a bit of a challenge since I’m not much sociable/a party planner at all. Toinks.

Anyhow, you should check out her list by clicking on this link. But FYI: this is NOT a paid blog. Haha. I just wanted to share it with you because it really got me interested and thinking. So if you’re a late bloomer as I am, you are more likely to get interested with it, too. :hide:

Have a great week ahead, everyone! =)
