If marriage=Gardenia bread: Nakatilaw na jud tawn kog Gardenia. LOL!

Sometimes I wonder if I’m discouraging people more than inspiring them into getting hitched and having a family. That’s some of the time. But most of the time, I wouldn’t care.

As much as I would want to sugarcoat the experience, I’d rather not. I’d certainly be one of those people who’d say, “It takes a lot of work.” To quote Joyce Brothers, “Marriage is not just spiritual communion; it is also remembering to take out the trash.” LOL!

And if someone gushes at a couple who’d been married in less than a decade and says, “It’s the most successful marriage ever,” and asks me if I'd agree, I’d probably be one of those who raises an eyebrow to say, “Tell that to me again after 25 years.” To quote Mark Twain, “Love seems the swiftest, but it is the slowest of all growths. No man or woman really knows what perfect love is until they have been married a quarter of a century.”

I also don’t even need to hear about all those sexual–fantasies–coming–true–in–marriage just so to prove everything’s well and all right in the bedroom (because really it's not the only room we stay in all day, everyday). :hide:

Of course, this is just me saying: you don’t need convincing or discouraging to get into or out of a marriage; You just do it.
