Today is Me-me Day

Today is a
great time to talk about me, post a (cropped) recent pic of (burakdak) me (lol!), and post the things I am grateful for in my life.

I’ve al
ways believed that being grateful is not about looking at others and assess things in their lives that make them more unfortunate than you. Rather, being grateful is only about you and about how you truly feel about what you have.

1.The
Almighty

2. My kids—My life has never been busier; I have a 3–year old who never went through a “terrible two” stage but went ahead to being a “three-rorrist”. Lol! Also, I have a 5–month old baby who stops drinking her milk whenever someone speaks loudly near her (sutsot). Hihi. Having these kids may mean I can’t travel much, watch movies, eat in fancy restaurants, and buy amazing gadgets, but they take me with them as they travel through their imaginations, watch their favorite DVDs, dinner (eating independently with us) in the table, and indulge in amazing, funny conversations. =)

3. Family—They have been there for me. They have loved my children dearly. They are funny. They can be complicated. They are normal people. Hehe.

4. Fri
ends—What more can I say? I’m the luckiest girl on earth to have friends like you, and you know who you are. Someday we’re all going to be in one place, probably talking about the same things we talk about online, but this time we’ll look into each other’s eyes—filled with happy tears brought about by laughing too much. Hihi.

5. Work

6. Mentors—I got lucky to have met unselfish, reliable people at work. There was T. Flow who introduced me to the power of multitasking. Hihi. Then there was Chad who showed integrity and collectedness. I may not talk much about work, but certainly I am grateful for these people I’ve worked with.

7. Life’s ups and downs—If I haven’t gone through them, I wouldn’t be what I am now. What I am now is not what I am going to be forever. I should never tire to strive to be the best version of me for as long as I’m here.

Advance Merry Ch
ristmas to you all! =)

. . . . .

Perfectly said. And I agree with you.

And I think that happiness really comes from a grateful heart. :)

I love your list. :)
